Romania's Energy Shareholdings Administration Association (SAPE) said it has signed a syndicated financing contract worth about 289 million lei ($63.5 million/55.1 million euro) with local state-owned banks CEC Bank and Exim Banca Romaneasca to support the development of the CET Titan Bucharest cogeneration plant.
The plant will also supply about 200 GWh of thermal energy per year to Bucharest's centralised district heating system, helping to enhance the security of the thermal energy supply in underserved areas of the capital.
