Contracts have been awarded for the construction of a local heating network as the town of Szaflary in Poland moves toward geothermal heating supply.

Contracts  have been signed for the construction and supervision of the district heating network in Szaflary, Poland which will eventually be supplied with geothermal heat from the Banska PGP-4 well. The first section of the district heating network will connect at least 80 homes and buildings, and the construction work will take place from 2026-2027.

An earlier update had indicated that construction of the main pipeline from the PGP-4 well in Banska Nizna to Szaflary is already in its advanced stages and will be completed within the year. The local heat network in Szaflary will serve to connect individual houses and buildings to this main supply line.
