- $116,876 to North Arizona University to support the development of an engineering and investment plan to establish a biomass district energy system on the Northern Arizona University campus, creating markets for low-value wood markets.
- $595,000 to Pallet and Lumber Supply LLC to install a combined-heat-and-power (CHP) system integrated with a continuous pyrolysis reactor to utilize mill residuals and produce new product lines in Arizona.
