The University of Missouri (MU) is seeking an engineer for its campus district energy system to coordinate data from the various process control platforms and develop data management applications.

MU owns and operates a full capacity combined cooling, heat, and power district energy system to the meet utility requirements for 15 million sqft of facilities on its campus in Columbia, Missouri. The energy system includes: a 66 MW CHP plant providing steam and electrical energy, a district cooling system with an installed capacity of 32,000 cooling tons, over 100 miles of underground distributed and metered utilities, and campus building automation system. https://www.cf.missouri.edu/cf/em

This position will report to the Energy Management Director and will work with a collaborative team of engineers and technicians. Key responsibilities for this position will include: managing process data, develop applications and dashboards for internal and campus use, and implementing optimization tools to help improve the district energy system’s performance.

Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering with a minimum of two years of related work experience, preferably in the utility industry.
