The Troy Industrial
Development Authority (TIDA) is established under New York State Law to foster
economic development in the City. TIDA currently has over 40 projects that it
has assisted by providing mortgage recording tax exemptions, sales and use tax
exemptions and Payment in Lieu of Taxes agreements in order to create jobs.
TIDA aims to create fair incentives packages that will benefit both the
residents of the city and developers.
