JEA
is a community-owned, not-for-profit utility serving electric and water
customers in Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding communities. JEA is not
owned by investors. It was created by the City of Jacksonville to serve
Northeast Florida residents and businesses. The sole purpose of JEA is to
ensure the electric, water and sewer demands of its customers are met, both
today and for generations to come, by providing reliable service at the best
value while ensuring our precious natural resources are protected.
