Located in the sunniest city on earth, Arizona Western
College supports Yuma and La Paz communities with over 170 degrees and
certificates in a wide range of academic and career and technical
programs.
The Central Plant at the Yuma Campus is a modern system
utilizing (3) 800-ton chillers, an underground chilled water storage tank and an
outside air heat exchanger to cool over 20 buildings on campus through 4
pumping loops with over 625,000 square feet of coverage.
AWC has had on campus
housing since its inception in 1963 and currently has 3 residence halls with
over 400 beds.
