Brooklyn Navy Yard Cogeneration Partners, L.P. owns and operates a combined-cycle cogeneration facility located within the Brooklyn Navy Yard industrial complex in Brooklyn, New York. Commissioned in 1996, the facility supplies both electricity and steam under long-term arrangements to a major investor-owned utility and the Brooklyn Navy Yard industrial park. The project utilizes highly efficient combined heat and power (CHP) technology, with natural gas serving as its primary fuel source. The facility has a nominal electric generating capacity of approximately 286 MW and plays a critical role in supporting the region's energy infrastructure while providing reliable thermal and electric energy to local industrial users.
