Mr. Daniel Culican, M.E.M. has 15 years of experience in thermoplastic engineering. I currently hold the title of United States engineering manager with a Bachelors of mechanical engineering, Masters in engineering management and currently completing a Masters in coastal engineering. Our interest in joining the IDEA association is to connect with industry professionals who are interested in using High Temperature HDPE pipe (PE-RT). We have worked on several large HDPE pipe projects for the district heating industry (Both Hot and Chilled water applications) including Harvard University, Tufts University, and Clarkson. In addition to training with various groups I have also worked on large profile projects in the area of Block Island Deepwater wind project offshore wind farms conduit, Florida electric, Boston Harbor cable replacement and Cross Hudson New York City Prysmian project. I have also utilized HDPE high-density polyethylene not only for cable conduits, water, wastewater and chemical lines but also large sub aqueous heat exchangers in locations such as Hudson River Manhattan point and West Point Academy to name a few.
