A retrofit project has installed an inlet cooling system for increased summer season production capability from an existing nominal 7.5 MW combustion turbine generator operated at Harvard’s Blackstone combined heat and power facility.
The project will be described beginning with feasibility assessment and evaluation of cooling source options. Project design considerations including turbine vendor interface and construction phase logistics will be discussed. A record of actual inlet cooling system performance will be presented.
