Egg Geo has undertaken a thermal energy network study for a major campus on Long Island, New York. As an organization, the educational institution set an 80% campus decarbonization target for 2030. An early step towards decarbonization will be the implementation of geothermal-supplied thermal energy networks for their Long Island campus. This presentation will discuss the advantages of open aquifer exploitation, site conditions for the Long Island campus, and the system development process envisioned by Egg Geo LLC.
