CHP Operation Where Resiliency, Carbon, and Cost Intersect

Session Abstract

A cross-functional team of key stakeholders was established to develop a roadmap for the successful operation of MIT’s Central Utilities Plant (CUP), taking into consideration resiliency, financial, and GHG impacts.  In partnership with ICETEC, the approach used to develop Business Operation Rules for the CUP will be discussed, including an in-depth analysis of various dispatch models and operating scenarios.
