Creative Energy Steam Plant

Creative Energy was first established and has been operational since 1968, and is now a 280 MW First Class steam plant serving over 215 buildings and 50 million square feet throughout Vancouver’s downtown. The plant serves customers such as St. Paul’s Hospital, BC Place Stadium, Rogers Arena, and the Shangri La through 14 km of pipe, with 58 manholes and 6 sump pumps throughout the downtown core. The system has a 99.9% reliability over the last 40 years.
