Session Abstract

Innovative technologies like cloud and service models like remote monitoring are helping to improve operational efficiency across institutional utilities.  Managing inherent ICS security risks is critical to protecting information, assets, workers, and environment. Protecting ICS assets requires a holistic defense-in-depth security approach addressing internal and external security threats.  This session will cover with case studies around architectural security framework and standards like ISA/IEC 62443 improve the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the architecture to provide a common, risk-based framework to address and mitigate threats.
