Session Abstract

The focus of the presentation is to share with delegates the problems solved with regards to obtaining a complete understanding of the condition of a ducted Gen 2 district heating network which had suffered a catastrophic failure during critical operations.  In order for the operator to realise the correct path forward in terms of repair versus replacement it was imperative that condition reporting of the entire length of the effected system was obtained.  With inline inspection results providing a firm understanding of the severity corrosion and fitness for service reporting provided by Quest Integrity's Engineering Analysis Group, informed remediation plans could be realised and immediately put into action.
