Session Abstract

This presentation describes the design and deployment of a 2,000-bed COVID-19 care facility. It highlights the ways in which district energy systems supported and enabled the sudden conversion of a major convention center into a temporary hospital. The project exemplifies how a dedicated team―all working toward the same goal―was able to achieve unprecedented results in just a few days.
