Session Abstract

With a soaring demand for energy and dependency on technology for various activities, campuses heavily rely on reliable, efficient , affordable and sustainable energy. CHP systems are energy efficient and reliable alternatives to the conventional solutions for campuses. Vapour absorption is a thermally driven technology that utilises heat from low-grade energy sources for cooling and heating purposes. A fitting addition to the CHP system, absorption technology enables campuses optimize their energy requirements, save costs and reduce their carbon footprint. The presentation aims to detail out on the technology and how it could help campuses achieve energy optimization and the environmental sustainability quotients using relevant examples.
