District energy, a proven technology for distributing energy between neighbourhood buildings, requires in-depth evaluation of mechanical systems in buildings connected to the District Energy System (DES) to ensure future connections will meet all building demands.
We will discuss the importance of reviewing all building mechanical systems connected to the DES; strategies for optimizing ETS performance; modifying existing systems to accommodate DES connections; and how implementing these measures results in lower capital expenditure and increased efficiency.
