The EPA's 2010 decision to promulgate 40-CFR-60 will require all stationary engine generators that participate in non-emergency operation as defined by the EPA within the rule to become "RICE NESHAPs Compliant."The presentation will examine 7.5MW of Tier 4 backup diesel generator capacity, of which 5.8MW is enrolled in PJM's demand response system. The presentation will also address estimated rule-of-thumb retrofit costs for outfitting an existing generation asset with NESHAP compliant emissions equipment.
