Session Abstract

The integration of microgrids to support the needs of large energy consumers is paramount to the decentralization and promotion of a healthy and reliable energy system. This presentation will review the 8.2 MW microgrid and district energy system for steam, chilled water, and electrical generation through the implementation of reciprocating engines, solar photovoltaic, BESS, and electrical infrastructure upgrades currently in development for Gallaudet University in conjunction with Scale Microgrid Solutions.
