Session Abstract

Clarke Energy is a global leader in combined head and power technology, operating in 28 countries and the largest distributor for INNIO's Jenbacher gas engines. This presentation will draw upon the latest technological innovations in the sector incorporating proven approaches to decarbonize CHP and link to other low carbon technologies. The presentation will explore the implications of using decarbonized gas such as biogas, renewable natural gas and hydrogen along with their blending. We will explore hybridisation of CHP for district energy with complementary systems such as heat pumps and thermal microgrids. We will outline a selection of US and global examples to demonstrate the successful deployment of the technology.
