Green Heat Offerings: Enabling Customer Retention and Expansion during the Low-Carbon Energy Transition

08-29-2023 12:01

Session Abstract

In response to aggressive GHG regulations for new and existing buildings, as well as an increase in market expectations for low GHG energy service, most DE providers will need to offer a differentiated Green Heat product (similar to green electricity or renewable natural gas offerings) so that they can retain and expand their customer base. In this session, we will present learnings from three leaders in developing a green heat offering; Enwave Toronto and the neighbourhood energy utilities of Surrey and Vancouver.
