Session Abstract

This presentation will be the Lessons Learned for the 2019 IDEA Innovation Award Winner for the Groundwater Recovery System installed at Clearway Community Energy in San Francisco.   The initial project stretched the boundaries for technology integration into an aged steam plant.  Reliability and Economic benefits could not be fully realized until a major re-envisioning and reconfiguration of the system took place.  After the reconfiguration, the system is meeting and/or exceeding all of the original design goals.
