Central HVAC system upgrades at Hunter College (of The City University of New York) included new variable speed air handling units with digital controls. The AHUs are supplied central plant steam and chilled water. OBG analyzed interval data for energy savings verification and ongoing commissioning (OCx). OBG developed custom dashboards to manage and visualize large amounts of data and identify/correct comfort and energy issues. OCx was used to track occupant comfort and refine system performance. The project achieved 66% Fan energy savings and was awarded the 2018 Silver Award for Energy from American Council of Engineering Companies of New York.
