Innovations in Level Measurement Technology Improve Boiler Control and Reliability

10-31-2023 11:33

Session Abstract

Traditional boiler level measurement technologies are density-dependent, requiring temperature compensation in the control system.  Pressure-based measurements generally require condensate pots that can lead to unreliable readings during sudden load fluctuations and during start-up and shut-down.  Increasingly, boiler operators are eliminating these problems by upgrading level measurements with Guided Wave Radar.  In this session, we will demonstrate how Guided Wave Radar achieves better accuracy and responsiveness leading to improved boiler performance and reliability.
