As part of Texas A&M’s journey to continue to provide reliable energy and reduce campus energy consumption over the last several years as a result of extensive energy efficiency improvements it became critical to modernize the existing control and information infrastructure. Plant Control and Information systems are a key component of the equation for obtaining data and making decisions that positively impact plant efficiency, manage increasing capacity needs and increase reliability. The goal of the presentation is to provide utility decision makers with a better perspective on planning, evaluation and selection of creating a reliable control and information infrastructure future as well as defining those future needs and requirements.
