Novel Water Treatment Optimization Technologies implemented in NIH Central Utility Plant

08-16-2023 11:32

Session Abstract

NIH CUP water treatment program utilizes the latest technologies to minimize corrosion, biological growth and maintain water quality. An IoT data platform has been developed to collect the data from the real-time sensors and lab reports. The dashboard websites present the results with machine learning based fault detection and notification functions. We are also one of the first in the utility industry to implement the ATP-2G testing for microbiological surveillance and established a response guideline.
