Summary

Most marketed approaches to chilled water plant optimization use independent hardware to reduce plant energy use. This presentation demonstrates how predictive optimization yields similar performance results without the added hardware. Predictive optimization makes better use of existing plant equipment to achieve significant annual energy efficiency improvements. Case studies from several plants will illustrate a range of achievable performance results as a factor of equipment selection.
