Gallaudet University, located in Washington DC, is excited to release a Request for qualifications (RFQ) ultimately seeking a project execution and financing partner (or partners) to support the work of planning, financing, constructing, and operating an advanced district energy system.

The site analysis indicates that existing electricity, cooling, and thermal loads are well matched for 4 MW of CHP with the potential for inclusion of over 2 MW of solar PV. The goal of this initial RFQ is to identify potential partners with the strongest combination of experience, expertise, creativity, and organizational resources. A limited number of the most qualified responding teams will be invited to respond to a subsequent RFP.
