Session Abstract

Aging electrical infrastructure across North America has become an increasing concern. Many of the industrial facilities constructed in the mid-1900s are beginning to age beyond equipment’s life expectancy. As reliability and equipment failure concerns arise, customers are looking to upgrade, update, and modify their existing electrical distribution systems.

This presentation will discuss the specific equipment replacements, configuration changes, protection upgrades, and the various considerations that impacted the project design for INVISTA’s facility in Kingston, Ontario.
