Summary

In an urban environment there are significant benefits that come with the scale of Con Edison’s District Steam system.  This presentation will examine the many value propositions used by district customers and how they encourage building development while supporting sustainability and government environmental goals.  An example is the cogeneration profile of Con Edison’s system which enables new construction to gain significant LEED points.  Another is the elimination of local emissions that creates valuable open space.
