Summary

This session presented a case study of ectogrid™, a Thermal Micro Grid energy solution developed by E.ON which address the thermal needs for sustainable cities and moves us away from fossil fuels and combustion. The presentation focused on implementation of an ectogrid™ at Medicon Village as well the development of the European Spallation Source for Neutron Research (ESS), which seek to become the most environmentally sustainable research center in the world.
