Summary

The University of Pittsburgh’s Comprehensive Energy Master Plan and Energy Conservation Plan (2017) proposes capital investments for infrastructure enhancements and expansion, considers a campus microgrid and building conservation investments This plan is distinct in integrating energy and water conservation with supply and in its concern that the University’s investments also support the needs of neighboring institutions. This presentation will share the University’s objectives for this plan, its findings, recommendations and next big, bold steps.
