Summary

UCF is committed to a greener college campus by 2050. UCF initiatives include natural gas power, next generation grid planning (solar power) and water reduction. Through UCF’s partnership with U.S. Water, utilizing innovation in automation technology, chemistry, and design; reclaim water has been employed for the condenser cooling water systems that will reduce water usage by 15%, water/sewage costs by over $250K and eliminate 90MM GPY loading from the Floridian Aquifer.
