Summary
EPA presented the 2017 Green Power Leadership Awards in conjunction with the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) on Monday, October 23 during the , (October 22-24, 2017 in New York City). The awards serve to recognize the leading actions of organizations, programs, and individuals that significantly advance the development of green power sources.
Multiple IDEA members were included in the list of this year's recipients. Stanford University and The University of Missouri were recognized by the EPA Green Power Partnership as national leaders in the development and use of renewable energy. They were both recognized with the Direct Project Engagement Award, which is given to partners that distinguish themselves through direct project engagement with on- and off-site projects using a variety of financing structures to access renewable energy certificate (REC)-based green power.
