Summary
Plans to develop a combined heat-and-power plant on a site in Monmouth have been recommended for approval when they go before councillors at a meeting next week (5 December 2017).
An application was lodged earlier this year with Monmouthshire County Council for development on the Valley Enterprise Park.
The application proposes a 3,200 sq ft building that will house the plant, located on the northern part of the wider industrial estate.
It will provide power for additional development planned for the site, as well as Monmouth School's swimming pool complex and Welsh Water's pumping station.
