Summary
The Regulatory & Supervisory Bureau for electricity and water in Dubai (RSB) has had its mandate expanded to include Dubai’s growing district cooling industry.
The move is part of the resolutions adopted during the 51st meeting of the Dubai Supreme Council of energy headed by its chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The Council, which was attended by the vice chairman Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, secretary general Ahmed Buti Al Muhairbi and other council members also approved the study for developing a noise pollution strategy.
