The Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) was set up by the Government to incentivise organisations to use renewable heat through installing technology such as biomass boilers. It provides quarterly payments over a 20-year period to successful applicants of the scheme.

We believe that there are many organisations who are eligible to receive non-domestic RHI payments who are not currently benefiting from them. This includes schools, businesses, hospitals, leisure centres and organisations with district heating schemes.

It could be that such organisations are not aware of their eligibility, they are daunted by the complex application process, or something has changed with their set-up and they are no longer able to claim their RHI.
