Description: Mueller Energy Center Chiller Capacity Addition
Solicitation Number: RFQS 6100 CLMA038; Published June 8, 2020
Summary: The Work consists of providing a minimum of 6,000 ton modular chilled water plant and cooling towers located at the Mueller Development at Garcia St. The plant shall be connected to the existing chilled water distribution system by an existing valve by February 2022. The plant shall be built in a factory environment and consist of a modular building capable of housing the two chillers, three condenser pumps, three variable primary pumps, chilled water side stream filter/pump, piping, controls, and electrical switchboard and distribution. The plant shall have also be provided with stub outs for connection to the existing chilled water distribution system, cooling towers, makeup water, minimum 12,000 ton-hour / 15 degree delta T thermal storage tank and electrical. Cooling towers located adjacent to the modular building shall be provided. Each cooling tower shall be provided with a basin sweeper system with pump.
