His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum visited the pavilion of Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling service provider, at the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2021), which is being held in the Dubai Exhibition Centre at the site of the global event Expo 2020 in Dubai.
During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the qualitative developments of Empower’s various projects and its adoption of innovative technologies in consolidating company’s global leadership in the district cooling industry as the world’s largest service provider.
His Highness listened to a detailed explanation by Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, about company’s achievements, most notably the drivers of sustainable financial performance pursued by Empower, which resulted in a year-over-year growth of 3.4% in its profits, amounting to AED 901 million in 2020.
