McMaster University central plant known as E.T. Clarke Centre currently has ten (10) aging cooling towers, limited capacity for future growth as well as stringent noise attenuation requirements for ECA Compliance due to the nearby residence buildings. McMaster University is in the planning and engineering phase for the replacement of these towers. In addition to the replacement of the 10 existing towers, there will also be 2 new additional towers for providing and addressing the future capacity requirements for a total of 12 cooling towers.
