Request for Qualifications: UW Energy Renewal and Decarbonization Plan

The University of Washington is seeking Statements of Qualifications from engineering, architectural, or similarly qualified firms, to provide engineering consulting services to develop a University of Washington (“UW”) Energy Renewal and Decarbonization Plan to address the Seattle campus’ phased decarbonization/fuel-switch of the campus utility and energy infrastructure. The plan, part of the overall UW Energy Renewal Program, shall be developed in close coordination with similar planning work being done to address the University’s deferred maintenance backlog through renewal of campus buildings (the “Building Renewal Program”). This substantial undertaking will modernize our energy infrastructure and better align daily campus operations with UW’s sustainability values and required carbon offset purchases.
