Eaton said on Tuesday that it has been selected by US energy infrastructure solutions provider Endurant Energy to help it deploy over 150 MWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) across the Bronx and Staten Island boroughs in New York City.

The partnership encompasses 10 energy storage projects, valued at more than USD 7 million (EUR 6.50m), that will support buildings and the grid during peak demand hours, according to a press statement.
