Session Abstract

Emory University’s Atlanta campus has a complex energy plant consisting of over 20,000 tons of cooling, a 500,000-lb/hr steam loop and a 1 MW steam turbine. Applying utiliVisor’s software and in-house expertise, we were able to evaluate, document and optimize operations that we validated through the data as changes were implemented. Adjustments in equipment sequencing, scheduling and seasonal setpoint changes yielded 17% energy savings (or $485,300) in less than two years.
