This presentation talks about modern absorption technology at new normal, and highlights its potentials through decentralized design and life cycle cost savings analysis in examples of campus district energy systems. Modern absorption development is first described, and emphasis is given on technology advancements at new normal, including materials, and advanced control implementation. Then, the presentation illustrates its deployments at universities across US and Canada. Holistic system analysis are demonstrated in controllability enhancement and cost savings.
