Connecting Combustion Turbines, biofuel, and Hydrogen to optimize District Energy and Distributed Generation

08-29-2023 11:51

Session Abstract

Seeking to solve low efficiency configurations for partial load operations or large fluctuating loads? This session will present concept designs and that integrate combustion turbines to cover the electrical and thermal base load of a district cooling facility and Hydrogen and biofuels.  In addition to providing higher efficiency and flexibility to CHP operations, combustion turbines also provide a roadmap to zero CO2 emissions.  The session will also feature an Hydrogen technology update and a case study using combustion gas turbines with 100% hydrogen to achieve zero CO2.
