Summary

High voltage substations are important components of electrical systems which must deliver power from the point of generation to the intended loads efficiently and reliably. High density loads and reliable electrical supply is critical to the performance of campus electrical systems. This presentation will focus on substation configurations; analyzing merits during the master planning phase; and optimizing investments in electrical system reliability. Is it worth taking an active stance in working with your local utility?
