CHP comes in several different sizes and shapes. This presentation will compare and contrast two of the predominant technologies employed: Combustion Turbines and Gas Fired Reciprocating Engines. The presentation will look at key drivers for technology selection including load, geography, and reliability. We will also quantify the efficiency and emissions of each technology as well as the relative costs to purchase, install and maintain these assets in a CHP application. Attendees will gain an understanding of the key drivers for application of each technology through presentation of a case study.
