CampusEnergy2025 will take place at the Westin Boston Seaport District, February 3-6, 2025. IDEA Campus conferences continue to grow in stature and popularity within the campus district energy community, breaking attendance records every year. Information on how to register to attend the conference will be coming soon.
Attending CampusEnergy2025 is an invaluable opportunity for anyone working in the campus district energy community to connect and learn from one another through discussion of best practice solutions, project challenges and successes. Speaking at the conference is an amazing opportunity to position yourself as an industry leader by sharing your expertise with over 1200 industry colleagues.
While discussions about the future of the industry take place throughout the conference, they start at the podium, with expert speakers delivering content and ideas you won't hear anywhere else. If you have a project you'd like to discuss, please consider submitting an abstract to present.
Abstract Submission FAQs:
The theme for this, our 38th Annual Campus Energy Conference, is "Accelerating the Energy Transition" and we encourage abstracts that center on that theme. District energy systems are critical infrastructure providing resilient, efficient and adaptable heating, cooling, power, water and wastewater services on college, university and healthcare campuses. As carbon targets come into focus, campus energy systems are a powerful tool to accelerate decarbonization while maintaining reliability and integrating renewables.
Abstracts should be a short description of the presentation (approximately 75-100 words) and must contain a project reference or case study. The purpose of the case study/project reference is to highlight a real-world example relative to the abstract content.
A maximum of two (2) submissions per speaker is allowed. Please do not submit abstracts for panel style sessions.
Submissions that are strictly commercial in nature will not be considered. In short, you want to show attendees what you're doing, not tell them what you do.
If your abstract is accepted, all speakers & presenters are required to register and pay to attend the conference at a discounted speaker rate. You will be notified in early to mid-September of your acceptance status.
Main Program conference presentations will take place on February 4-5, 2025. Standard presentations will be allotted 25 minutes including Q&A. If you are not selected for the main program, it's possible your presentation will be selected as a poster presentation or as part of a preconference workshop.
